Secret Courier is a most
interesting game, because it offers an unlimited number of moves that are
dependent upon chance (the roll of the dice), on your memory, and on your own
strategy. You may advance your game pieces or retreat, in order to protect your
own pieces, or harass your
opponent's. Each turn offers a new challenge and new opportunities.
Secret Couriers was invented by my grandfather, Werner Muller Sr. of Newtown, PA. Werner Muller was born in Germany in the year 1912. At age twelve he immigrated to the United States. He passed away in November of 2005 at age 93.
He enjoyed playing games with his family and friends. From quoits, to fish, to chess, Granddad is always ready meet a challenge. He also invented the widely distributed card game of Dutch Blitz.
In 1999 I, with the help of my friend Fai Yip, decided to write a program to play the game online. The game on this site was the result.
